Our own deeply etched, unmounted red rubber stamps have been designed with the cardmaker and altered artist in mind. We have divided our images up into two different collections in the online store, for your convenience. Stamp sizes are given in millimetres.
Designed by Jean Hardy, Malcolm Noble and friends*, and often combining nostalgia, ephemera and collage on one stamp, we hope you will find them both attractive and useful. Some can be used with sticky fixers and be given a three dimensional and layered look. Try adding attractive buttons, real lace and colour for a stunning effect. We would love to view your results. Play and have fun!
We are very proud and totally delighted to present to you the first images from a brand new range of amazing rubber stamps designed especially for us at Crafty Individuals, by Alice of Alice Palace designs – ‘curious illustrations and words to make you SMILE’. The illustrations are so unique and so perfect for the current stamp market, and we are sure you are going to love playing along with them.
You asked us to make some stamps that you can use to make up your own backgrounds, or focal images, that are in the Crafty Individuals style but without being in a ‘finished’ format. We have produced our ‘mini plates’ in a new series of stamps called ‘Crafty Elements’. We think you are going to love using these; do check out the gallery for some inspiration on how to get started.
The plates all measure 96 x 187mm and are filled to the limit with useful images; accordingly you will need fairly nimble fingers to cut these images out individually. We suggest you mount the plate on a sheet of ‘Kling On’ in the first instance and then cut out carefully with a sharp pair of scissors. After this the possibilities are endless for use in your general craft projects, card making or altered arts projects. Enjoy!
